


Set at the threshold between land and sea, the project explores architecture as an instrument for experiencing the horizon. Rather than occupying the shoreline as a fixed object, the structure extends into the water, dissolving the conventional boundary between the built environment and the natural landscape. The design is conceived as a sequence of elevated platforms that frame views, movement, and changing environmental conditions. The project embraces the dynamic character of the coastal ecosystem. Reflections on the water, shifting weather patterns, the movement of birds, and the presence of human activity become integral components of the architectural experience. By lifting the building above the surface, the intervention minimizes its physical footprint while allowing natural processes to continue beneath it. Spatially, the composition is organized as a series of interconnected volumes linked by open transitional spaces. These moments of openness create visual and physical connections to the surrounding seascape, encouraging visitors to engage with the horizon, light, wind, and water. The architecture is therefore understood not as a singular object, but as a framework for observation, interaction, and contemplation. At its core, the project investigates coexistence—between architecture and nature, permanence and change, shelter and exposure. Through this dialogue, the design seeks to transform the edge of the sea into a place of encounter, where environmental awareness and human experience are brought into balance.










This section illustrates a lightweight, elevated structure designed to work in harmony with its natural environment. The butterfly roof geometry collects and directs rainwater toward a central drainage system, supporting efficient water management and reducing surface runoff. The building’s raised platform minimizes disturbance to the ground and surrounding ecosystem, while allowing natural water flow and vegetation growth beneath. Large glazed openings maximize daylight penetration, reducing dependence on artificial lighting and enhancing the connection between occupants and nature. Together, these strategies create a resilient and environmentally responsive design that prioritizes resource efficiency and long-term sustainability.
